About Me – My Language Learning Journey

Hello! My name is Elías Farak, and I am currently studying Software Analysis and Development at SENA in Colombia. Since the beginning of my academic journey, English has played a fundamental role in expanding my knowledge and preparing me for a global career.

Over time, I have improved my listening, reading, writing, and speaking skills thanks to a variety of resources such as educational videos, audio recordings, grammar guides, and interactive tasks.

Learning English has not only helped me understand technical content, but it has also given me the confidence to communicate with others, explore international tools, and participate in global discussions related to software and science. This blog reflects that journey — my growth, efforts, and achievements.

 What I Learned and What Comes Next Looking back, I feel very proud of how much I’ve learned through this process. English is no longer a subject for me — it’s a living tool that I use every day to learn, communicate, and grow. I now understand articles, write reflections, and can hold conversations that seemed impossible before. I’ve learned that consistency, curiosity, and practice are key elements in mastering a language. My next goal is to reach a B2 level and continue developing my career with international skills. Speaking English – My Audio Experience

One of the most challenging and rewarding experiences has been recording an audio podcast in English. In this podcast, I talk about my academic and work journey, including how English has shaped my career and goals. It helped me improve my fluency, pronunciation, and confidence in speaking. Listening to myself made me realize my progress and areas I can still improve.
